The Irdroid-Rly4 is a four channel IR controlled Relay development board that can be controlled using a PC, or a Smartphone with Android using the Smartphone’s built-in IR blaster or using one of the IR transmitter modules available at https://www.irdroid.com. The Android application is open source and the code could be downloaded from http://github.com/Irdroid/Irdroid-Rly4
The device can be used for controlling a home appliances like lights, fans, pumps and many more. The relays are working in trigger mode. Once the Relay board is supplied with a 9 – 14V DC power source the Relay contacts are switched off (NO / Normal open state). When the user presses the buttons from the remote control Application for Android (1,2,3 or four).
Board Features:

- Control via the open source Android App (needs an adapter for devices that lacks IR blaster)
- Available Lirc.conf file for controlling on any system that runs a LIRC daemon
